Pointless close pass coming into roundabout

The car accelerated to get ahead of me coming into the roundabout, forcing me to brake hard to avoid hitting either it or the road furniture. There was plenty of room to pass either before or after the roundabout, but they couldn't be bothered to wait. They then drove over the top of the roundabout.
