Close Pass From a Ranger With Stupid Tyres

A quiet Sunday morning, very little traffic around, multi lane road. Crossing the level crossing means the road narrows a bit, I can hear a diesel motor behind which raise red flags. Fortunately I drift into the slip lane as the Ranger pushers through.
Incident made more dangerous by the ute being fitted with oversized tyres protruding outside the vehicle body.
No contact but dangerous and perhaps a less experience rider could have panicked and fallen with potentially bad outcome.
Plenty of room to pass in the adjacent lane.
